KITCHEN CUPBOARD COOKIES

1/2 C. margarine

1/2 C. shortening

1-1/2 C. granulated sugar

2 TB. molasses

1 large egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1 C. all-purpose flour

1/2 C. whole wheat flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1-1/2 C. rolled oats

1/2 C. chocolate chips

1/2 C. peanut butter chips

1/3 C. craisins (or raisins)

1/4 C. sunflower seeds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream margarine and shortening together.  Add sugar and molasses and beat until blended.  Add egg and vanilla; beat just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, sunflower seeds, craisins and oats.  Mix the baking soda with the flour and stir into the mixture.  Combine everything thoroughly.

Drop by heaping teaspoon-full onto cookie sheet.  Bat at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes or until you see the bottom edges turn a nice golden brown.  Let sit on cookie sheet for one minute before removing to a wire rack to cool.  Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
